Welcome to Ready Cadet. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe and secure study environment. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and our website (readycadet.com).

We collect information to provide a personalized and effective study experience. The types of information we collect include:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, rank, unit, and avatar.
  • Study & Performance Data: To help you track your progress, we collect and store quiz scores, streak history, readiness scores, focus areas, and oath completion status.
  • Device & Diagnostics: We collect technical data, including your device’s operating system version, device model, and crash logs to help us improve app stability.
  • Purchase Information: If you subscribe to our premium features, the transactions are processed securely through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat. Ready Cadet does not store or have access to your credit card information.

We use trusted third-party services to support our application infrastructure and analyze performance:

  • Google Firebase: Used for Authentication (Auth), database storage (Firestore), analytics (Firebase Analytics), crash reporting (Crashlytics), push notifications (Cloud Messaging FCM), and remote configuration (Remote Config).
  • RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions and purchase validation.
  • Apple App Store & Google Play Store: Used for app distribution and payment processing.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, personalize, and improve the Ready Cadet application.
  • To track and display your quiz performance and study analytics.
  • To synchronize your progress across multiple devices.
  • To send study streak reminders and relevant notifications.

No Sale of Individual Data: Ready Cadet will NEVER sell, rent, trade, or share individual or personally identifiable user data (such as names, emails, user IDs, or individual study records) with third parties or advertisers.

Future Advertising & Sponsorships: Ready Cadet may feature sponsorships or advertisements in the future.

Aggregated & Anonymized Statistics Only: To facilitate advertising space and sponsorship partnerships, Ready Cadet may share non-personally identifiable, aggregated statistics (for example: total active users, general engagement rates, or overall quiz volume metrics). These metrics represent broad trends and contain zero personally identifiable information (PII). Advertisers will never have access to any individual user’s personal or study data.

Ready Cadet is designed for CAP cadets 13 years of age or older. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without appropriate parental consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible. Parents can request data deletion by contacting us through our support page.
